Berry Picking

Today I went berry picking with the wife of one of Zach's classmates and her friends. I was quite excited as this was the very first time I ever picked any fruit, with the occassional exception of my parent's raspberries. We drove out into the countryside to an orchard to pick raspberries (luckily I had limited experience with this) and peaches. It was fun, but now I have more peaches than Zach or I could ever eat!! Especially, if you consider that neither of us are particularly fond of peaches!

A peachtree. I had never seen a peachtree before. I don't even think I knew that peaches grew on trees. Today I realized, as I have so many times since moving out into the country, I truly am a city girl.
