Boston Common
My adventures in Boston started out here in the Boston Common. I was very surprised to learn that there was actually a place called the Boston Common- it is more than just a TV show (and, as I recall, a bad TV show at that). I discovered that it is actually a beautiful park- the oldest common grazing place in America, home to little league games, picnicers, swanboats and scenes from Goodwill Hunting. Apparently, american football was first played in America here- although I may be wrong about that as I wasn't always paying the best attention to the tour guide.
Alexis and I in the public garden.

Alexis is shocked to see the bench from Goodwill Hunting. Actually, I was more shocked, as I think I actually screamed. But, she volunteered to pose anyway. I don't even like the movie so much.

Me on a different bench.

The shortest suspension bridge in the world. Unless this is not a suspension bridge. Then this is the shortest-whatever-kind-of-bridge-this-is-in-the-world bridge. It is pretty though!

Alexis posing beside the statue of the horse that is on my Boston Starbucks mug. Apparently it may be of George Washington, not Paul Revere as one might first think.
